Your vinyl lettering will arrive with a
transfer tape applied on top of the lettering,
this will help in the application of your
lettering. Keep your lettering dry and free of
dust until you are ready to apply. Surface to
receive lettering should be clean and free from
dust and oils. Freshly painted walls should
cure for 3 weeks before applying vinyl.
Use a level and ruler to mark the position of
lettering on the surface with a pencil.
Use a squeegee, credit card, plastic spatula or
popsicle stick to rub over transfer
tape.
Use masking tape along the top edge of letter
to adhere your lettering to the surface you
have marked being sure to line up the center of
lettering with center of markings on
surface.
Flip lettering up and peel white backing paper
away from the lettering and sticky transfer
tape at an angle. If the backing does not
remove, rub that area again with squeegee, and
try again.
Carefully hold corners of transfer tape and
flip lettering down. Do not let lettering touch
the surface until you have it exactly where you
want it. Adhere lettering to wall, smooth with
hand and then burnish with squeegee.
Slowly peel off the transfer tape off at an
angle, re-rub any lettering that sticks to the
tape and re-apply pressure to lettering. Remove
remaining transfer tape.
